Vision, Mission,
Values
“The single most important bond is that of community.”
— bell hooks
We are living in a time marked by widening income and wealth inequality, the rise of Christian nationalism, persistent anti‑Blackness, and ongoing queer‑phobia, all unfolding alongside an epidemic of loneliness. In the face of these realities, we believe it is not only possible but necessary to build comprehensive spaces of care for every person society has pushed to the margins. Picture it! A world where no one worries about food or shelter, where every person is respected for who they are, and where safety, dignity, and belonging are guaranteed. Can you see that vision? Same, we can, too!
This vision fuels our mission: to journey with people wherever they are in life and to embody justice through intentional community building. We are committed to being part of the fabric of change that brings forth a world where everyone is safe, secure, and able to focus on happiness and joy.
Our values guide this work. We center the most marginalized among us, knowing that when the most vulnerable flourish, we all flourish. We believe good is possible, that good still exists despite what the world says, and better is always within reach. We understand that culture is created, which is why we are intentional about our language, our policies, and our programming. And we believe in cultivating communities of care, where people build meaningful friendships as they care for others, recognizing that caring for others is also a way of caring for oneself.
Ultimately, we are a movement planting seeds of impossibility, reaching for what others call far‑fetched, because we know a more just, joyful, and compassionate world is not only imaginable, but achievable.
